So a few years ago I saw the movie ‘The day after Tomorrow’. Good flick I guess. A little dramatic on the context of the world is over heating and will be melting the polar ice caps soon and we will all die!
Geez. I’m so very tired of this ‘The sky is falling crap!’ Sorry. It just burns me up that people believe this stuff. Here are my thoughts. The temperature of the earth as a whole has only been taken for about 100 years. And these scientist all state something along the line of ‘…the world is one degree warmer this century than last’. Okay, first question is ‘as compared to what?’ Second question, what is the margin of error on the temperature reading? About 1 degree? hmm.
People, this is all just cyclical phases of the earth. Just like the ice age. Sure the population of the world has almost grown in the last 30 years. That would raise the temperature a degree or two. I just don’t see that all this means in my lifetime the worlds will end. Like the movie predicts. More it will be a slow and gradual ending over centuries. By then technology will be figured out how to get off this rock we call earth.
And no these are not hard facts I’m providing. These are all my thoughts and speculation just like the scientist.
